This should allow you to breeze through any repeat of the main story. The most prominent feature is a New Game+ mode that lets you start a new game, but with all of your end-game equipment. Horizon Forbidden West: Update It’s not just Horizon Call of the Mountain that’s getting love.Īs you might’ve noticed, the second half of the Horizon trailer from State of Play is news about Horizon Forbidden West. Not to mention, the fights against hostile machines using your bow felt almost like Horizon Zero Dawn. You see climbing puzzles just like in the main game, and there are even new ones unique to the VR mode. Guerilla Games and Firesprite really worked hard to make it play as close to Horizon Zero Dawn as possible. The actual gameplay of Horizon Call of the Mountain shown in the trailer is surprisingly complex for a virtual reality game. He is a master at climbing and archery, two skills crucial to survival as you step into his shoes, scaling perilous mountains and taking down mighty machines like the Thunderjaw.” In Call of the Mountain, you’ll be seeing it through the eyes of Ryas, a former Shadow Carja Warrior who hopes to redeem himself by investigating a grave new threat to the Sundom. “The world of Horizon is spectacular up close. The PlayStation Blog has some more info about Ryas himself: At least Ryas seems like an interesting main character regardless. I think it seems a bit weird to just change the main character’s gender like that, but alright. Now though, the main character is definitely male. While we didn’t actually see the main character in the original teaser trailer, we could tell the main character was female judging from her voice. When you watch the Horizon Call of the Mountain gameplay trailer, you immediately notice something: they changed the main character. 2 trailers for the price of 1 State of Play? I’ll take it. ![]()
